The 100 Black Men of America
is one of the fastest growing community service organizations in the United States with over 116 chapters globally and a world-wide membership of over 10,000 who serve over 100,000 kids.
The Savannah Chapter of 'The 100'
has over 60 members who come from various backgrounds. We are committed to improving the quality of life in our local community through leading by example everyday.
Membership in the 100 Black Men of Savannah, Inc. is open to 'men of good character and achievement' who have a commitment to strengthening and improving our communities. We welcome members who are committed to mentoring our youth and who wish to help create environments in which our youth and their families are motivated to achieve and empowered to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of Savannah and Chatham County.
Interested persons
may be nominated by a current member or apply directly to the Savannah chapter
. Candidates must
be 25 years of age
, submit an application for membership, provide two personal letters of reference, submit to a confidential criminal background investigation, and participate in a personal interview with the Membership Committee.
