Members, your 100 Black Men of Savannah Renewal is fast approaching and you may now renew your membership online.
Dear Member of the Savannah 100,
It that time of the year again – time for your annual renewal of your membership dues in the 100 Black Men of Savannah, Inc. With the election of new officers, we are now ready to forge ahead – building upon the foundation so carefully laid by our outgoing president, Henry Lee Perry, II, and forging ahead under the new leadership of our president-elect, Lloyd A. Johnson.
Thanks to your active participation, we made significant program strides this year. Our LeadershipAcademy, under the leadership of Derrick Butler, is now a rigorous college-preparation program. Rev. James “Jay” Jones provides energetic leadership for our Mentoring Committee through Promising E-Pals, Collegiate 100 chapters at SavannahState, Armstrong Atlantic, and Georgia Southern, and member mentorship training. Cliff Broadnax and Dr. Kenneth Eugene have raised our nationally recognized Health & Wellness Committee to new heights through health disparities programs, new collaborative relationships, health screenings, and childhood obesity prevention initiatives. Our Membership Committee, spearheaded by Harold Oglesby, continues to energize the chapter by careful screening of new and promising members, our Chapter dinner and other in-reach and outreach programs.
Our favorable reputation in the Savannah community is well-earned. But we have not yet reached our full potential. With your wise counsel and contributions according to your time and talents, we can and will continue our growth and service to Savannah’s youth and their families.
Your 2010 dues invoice is attached. This year we’ve made it easier to pay your $285.00 dues renewal. You may now pay your dues by PayPal. Simply visit our web site – www.100BlackMenSav.org – click the Membership Renewal link in the upper left and follow PayPal instructions using any major credit card. Remember, dues are payable at this time. A $75 late fee will be applied to any unpaid balance after January 31, 2010.
Of course, if you prefer, you may send your check or money order, payable to “100 Black Men of Savannah, Inc.”, to Treasurer, 100 Black Men of Savannah, Inc., PO Box 14606, Savannah, GA31416.
